DAY 1: HANOI – PU LUONG - RICE TERRACES | LOCAL LIFE | BROCADE WEAVING (L/D)
07:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Enjoy a comfortable drive to Pu Luong, with one short break along the way.
12:00 PM: Arrive in Pu Luong for lunch. Check in and take some time to relax before heading out for an easy afternoon walk.
01:30 PM: This afternoon's gentle walk takes you through the heart of Don Village and across some of Pu Luong's most beautiful rice terraces.
Continue towards Uoi Hamlet, where traditional stilt houses sit quietly beneath the mountains, before reaching Lan Village, home to one of the valley's oldest Thai communities.
Take your time exploring the village, meet local people, and visit families still weaving traditional Thai brocade by hand.
For those who prefer, an optional bicycle ride is available for an even more relaxed way to explore the valley's quiet country lanes.
Meet your transfer at the end of the walk and return to the hotel around 5:00 PM.
Evening
Enjoy Happy Hour before dinner, or join our optional Cooking Class to learn a few local recipes. After dinner, the evening is yours to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Pu Luong.
DAY 2: PU LUONG – HANOI - VILLAGE LIFE | WATER WHEELS | BAMBOO RAFTING (B/L)
07:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast before checking out.
08:30 AM: A short transfer brings you to Ban Cong Village, where today's gentle walk begins.
Cross a suspension bridge and follow quiet riverside paths through one of Pu Luong's most scenic villages. Watch farmers working in the fields, water buffalo grazing nearby, and everyday village life unfold around you.
Along the way, discover the valley's famous giant bamboo water wheels, still used to carry water from the stream to nearby rice fields.
Continue to Chieu Lau Dam, where local boatmen will welcome you aboard a traditional bamboo raft. Drift gently upstream, take in the peaceful surroundings, and simply enjoy the slower pace of life.
After the rafting experience, enjoy another easy walk through rice fields and quiet village paths before meeting your transfer back to the hotel around 11:30 AM for check-out and lunch.
01:00 PM: After lunch, begin the drive back to Hanoi.
Expected arrival at your hotel is around 6:00 PM, depending on traffic.
